All seems to have gone well. I’ve been seeing some stories about WordPress security issues recently. Hope nobody has been experiencing any problems.

From my point of view, things seem to be going fine.
I just enabled one of my posts for commenting so that I could see the captcha, but didn’t see anything.
Do we have to enable a plugin?
The upgrades were just for the core WPMU stuff.
But I also just installed Akismet, which is supposed to handle spam. It’s not capcha, but I read that it’s good at removing spam. I have enabled this as a global plugin, so everybody gets it whether they like it or not
Akismet seems to be installed, but not as a global plugin. You will need to enable it on your plugins page. It requires a WordPress.com API key. To obtain one, go to the WordPress.com site and register an account. You can specify that you want an account only without a blog. Then have a look at your new profile page on wordpress.com and your API key is listed near the top of the page.
Enabled.
Damn jumping through hoops for an account though.
I still lol’d at the “all people have it” 5 mins later “you have to enable it manually” comments though.
Yeah. I followed the instructions, but it didn’t work as advertised. All the documentation seems to be about normal wordpress, not MU.
